Electronic Visa for Turkey

Citizens of some countries, especially those eligible for the single-entry Turkey e-Visa, must attach a few additional documents for their application to get approved.

The additional documents include:

• a valid visa or permanent residence from one of the specified countries (Schengen Area countries, the USA, the UK, Ireland
• a copy of the traveller's return ticket
• proof of having sufficient funds for the stay in Turkey
• hotel bookings
• flight ticket booked with a specific airline

You may need to provide one or more of the above-listed documents as part of your online application depending on your nationality.

After you apply online for the Turkey e-Visa, your application will get processed by the Turkish Government, and once approved, the issued document will reach your email inbox.

The processed document reaches travellers via email in PDF form and should be downloaded and printed before departure.

To receive the issued Turkey e-Visa with no issues, make sure to provide your email address correctly when completing the application form and that your email address is active.

The processed document will reach your email inbox within 72 hours (3 business days) of submitting your application online.

The specified time can be elongated by the Turkish Government if they feel the need to do so. This could be caused by mistakes in the application form, incorrect data provided, or invalid documents attached.

Make sure to apply no later than 3 business days for your Turkey e-Visa and to provide correct and accurate data when applying.
